The city of Concord is a city steeped in history. Concord was settled in 1635 by about a dozen families, most of whom came from England specifically for this purpose.

The fire headquarters was located at the intersection of US Route 20 and Route 148 in the Fiskdale section of Sturbridge.

Gloucester was first established as a settlement in 1623, three years after the Pilgrims landed in Plymouth.
