Your death Benefit and Welfare Fund (D&W) offers active members Estate Planning services.

A basic Estate Plan Includes:

• A Will 
• Health Care Proxy 
• A Living Will 
• Power of Attorney 
• A Family Trust (for members with minor children)

The costs of these services will be PAID IN FULL from the operating funds of your Death Benefit and Welfare Fund.

Additionally, married members who wish to have similar documents drafted for their spouse will be offered a reduced price between $75.00 and $125.00 (dependent on the number of documents necessary)

Appointments with our attorney will be held on the first two Thursdays of each month. Those members interested should contact the Death Benefit and Welfare Fund Secretary, Mike Walsh (617) 799-4215, email: mikew@local718.org to schedule an appointment.

Appointments will be scheduled by seniority (time in service) on a first come first serve basis.

Those members who intend on having documents drafted for their spouse need your spouse to be present at your appointment(s).
